Hi all.
This is one of the easiest and most common Greek salads called ‘Tirokafteri’ to elevate your cooking. Up to you on the quantity of chilli and garlic used. We make it when we have bbqs and we put on pita bread with meat and potatos. Better to serve cold.
Ingredients:
1 red pepper
100 g strained yogurt
400 g feta cheese
1 tbsp chili flakes (or chilli paste)
Half clove of garlic
Try it and let me know how you found it.

Hi guys and welcome back to the channel. Today we are making one of the easiest and most famous Greek salads, spicy fate to dip. For this recipe we will need one red pepper, 100 g of strained yogurt, 400 g of fated cheese, 1 tbsp chili flake for mild heat, and a small clove of garlic. Let’s start. First, we need to grill the pepper on the barbecue or roast it in the oven until it is cooked through and has a smoky taste. You can use a kitchen blow torch as well if you have one, but I don’t have one, so I’m doing it the oldfashioned way. After the pepper has cooled down a little bit, peel it, remove its seeds, and put its flesh into a chopper blender. Add the yogurt, half of the feta cheese, the chili flake, and the garlic, and beat them well till smooth. Crumble the rest of the feta cheese into a bowl until it is broken into pieces. Add the mixture from the blender into the bowl and mix well and then put it in the fridge to get cold. And that’s it. Done. We will serve it on bread, but you can just have it as a salad on the table. I hope you enjoyed it and I hope that you will try it and give me your thoughts.
