Cooked by me. Ingredients from the local butcher and greengrocer.
The raw materials cost £12.50 for two plates, so it’s £6.25 per portion.
I was aiming to cook the perfect fry-up. Didn’t quite get there but it was definitely a 4/5.
I like streaky bacon rather than back bacon but these slices from the butcher are ridiculously thick so quite hard to crisp up. Good flavour though.
Fried bread tasted nice but I probably should have used a bit more oil and got it hotter before chucking the bread in.
Overall delicious although it was a huge effort so next time I’ll probably just go to a café. 🙂
