I finally ventured out to the Washington DC location of Planta, called Planta Queen. My friend ordered vegan sushi which was very well done but too sweet, we shared excellent 1000 Layer Potato with Caviar and Sour Cream stacks, and I had creamy Truffle Udon Noodles which were excellent. Nice place but it wasn’t very busy, I think they come to life in the evening..? Still would heartily recommend for a vegan meal in DC.
