LA galbi (short ribs) 2 lb
Onion ½ ea
Pear ¼ ea
Apple ½ ea
Soy sauce 8 tbsp
Sugar 4 tbsp
Cooking wine 4 tbsp
Sesame oil 1 tbsp
Garlic 1 clove
Corn syrup (or rice syrup) 3 tbsp
Black pepper 1 tbsp
[Music] Let’s make galby with the Korean consulate general chef. Prep your ingredients first. First, soak the short ribs in water for 20 minutes to remove the blood. Peel the apple and pear. Then, cut them into small pieces. And then, let’s make the gali marinade. Add the chopped pear, apple, soy sauce, sugar, cooking wine, pepper, sesami seeds, and garlic to a blender. Blend it all together. Next, take the ribs out of the water. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Then, pour the marinade over the short ribs. Marinate for 20 minutes. And finally, grill the galby in a pan. Cut the ribs into bite-sized pieces. Add beans breast on the side if you want. And that’s it. Enjoy your galby gooey.
