Washington, D.C. (7News) — The 40th annual Mediterranean Festival is kicking off on September 19th for a weekend of fun and festivities.
Co-chair for the festival Rida Boulos joined Kidd and Megan on Friday to share what visitors can look forward to.
Rida said a highlight of the festival will be the traditional homemade Mediterranean food that was inspired by dishes made by her mother and grandmother.
“All of these recipes have been handed down generation to generation” she said.
The festival will also have vendor booths and activities for people of all ages.
