Located inside the Italian Cultural Centre in East Van, you’ll find Osteria al Centro. Here, the spot is serving up its take on the classic Italian pre-dinner ritual, known as apericena.
From 4 to 6 p.m. daily, you’ll find $10 spritzes, $6 wines, and $5 beers, in addition to cicchetti, which are small chef-selected Italian bites to enjoy with your drink.
If you miss happy hour, Osteria al Centro also offers weekday lunches under $15 and a $50 dinner for four.

Looking for your mid-week pick-me-up? Or maybe you’re in need of an after-office gab session with your coworkers? Well, L’Abattoir is holding a happy hour for the entire evening on Wednesdays.
From 5 to 11 p.m., you’ll be able to score many deals from its $10 happy hour menu, including cocktails like the Sidecar and Vieux Carré. Plus, all house cocktails are $2 off, and Champagne is half price.
As for bites, you can enjoy oysters with whipped garlic butter and black truffle for just $10, or steak tartare with tuna and shiso for just $5 each.
You can also enjoy happy hour prices daily from 5 to 6 p.m. at the bar.

Anyone who shows up with their pooch will unlock this special Yappy Hour menu featuring $5 cold brews and specialty coffees, $10 Caesars and mimosa flights, and $8 mocktails and kombucha.

Minami’s happy hour menu is inspired by Japan’s popular nomikai culture, where work friends gather for drinking parties to have fun and bond. To reflect this, its Kanpai! Happy Hour menu features small plates, priced from $4 to $16, to encourage sharing and sampling different dishes.
Expect items like its Aburi Fish n Chips (cocktail-sized fish and chips with lotus root chips), Gyozas (pork or prawn), and Chicken Karaage (soy ginger marinated chicken, togarashi corn rib, and karashi mayo).
Plus, drinks start at $5, which is something we always love to hear.
