Hey everyone,

I recently got the Torre Peppina Evo and I’ve been spending the past weeks pulling shots and steaming milk on it. Thought I’d share some impressions since this machine doesn’t get as much attention as some of the bigger brands.

First impressions
This thing is built like a tank but still manages to look elegant. The stainless steel finish is clean, the wooden handles give it a nice warm touch and it has that “Italian café” vibe without feeling overdesigned. It’s the kind of machine that makes you stop for a second just to admire it when it’s sitting on your counter.

Dual boiler setup
Coming from a single boiler machine before, having two boilers feels like a game changer. Brew temp is rock solid, and being able to steam and pull shots back-to-back with no waiting around makes a huge difference in workflow. It’s quick, responsive, and hasn’t left me wishing for more power. We use the machine at home and also for events. Would say that this machine easily can be placed in a smaller restaurant / café and do the job in a spectacular way.

In the cup
Shots have been consistently balanced and forgiving to dial in. I’ve noticed a bit more clarity compared to my previous machine, and it’s been fun to play around with different beans knowing the machine is holding temp steady. Milk steaming is powerful without being overly aggressive, 1.3 is recommended for the steam, so microfoam is actually enjoyable to work on rather than a fight.

Living with it
It’s surprisingly user-friendly for what is essentially a prosumer machine. Heat-up time is fast enough for daily use and the levers/valves have a nice tactile feel. There’s something satisfying about using it, like you’re part of the process rather than just pressing a button, actually you’re not even pressing buttons since the machine has a leaver for the espresso extraction.

Overall
The Peppina Evo feels like one of those machines you can grow into, rather than out of. If you want something solid, dual boiler, and with a bit of character compared to the more common names out there, it’s definitely worth a look.

Happy to answer questions or compare notes if anyone else is running one!
