One of my little sisters close friends/teammates finally went into remission we found out yesterday, and since I am the resident baker I was more than happy to made her a cake. Shes been trying to balance chemo, her extracurriculars and her senior year of highschool, so it felt like the least I could do was to surprise her with a special cake, since she loves vintage decorated cakes, light pink, bows & sparkles.
It is carrot cake with brown butter cream cheese filling and almond buttercream.
