My girlfriend’s all-time favourite comfort food is a Cheeseburger and I love to cook, so naturally I made it my mission to learn to make the Most Perfect Cheeseburger™️. Any suggestions?

(P.S. The text is a reference to one of our favourite comfort movies, “The Menu.”)

Half the thickness of that tomato slice and make your own buns if you’re not already. I find the bread is the most important part, fresh bread makes it from a good burger to a phenomenal burger.

    Beautiful otherwise.

**Edit:** Who the fuck is gonna downvote for fresh buns? You uncultured, Walmart bun buying nerds are really missing out. My boy is about to make the Mona Lisa of burgers and y’all are gonna still be eating your nasty white bread buns. Sad.

Recognized the The Menu reference immediately, great movie and great looking burger.

  4. Put tomato on bottom bun under the meat so it heats up the tomato a wee it and will act as a sponge for grease which helps keep the bottom bun in tact

The best meat is 90/10. You’re gonna wanna cook it depending on how she likes it. Throw a little bit of rub on it to give it some flavor. Not too much, or it will over power the burger. Then you put American cheese on it if she says that after the burger is mostly cooked and let the cheese melt. You’re gonna wanna use wood like hickory with some natural fire cubes, or a torch but not fire starter fluid. As it will make the food taste like chemicals.

  9. I fucking love tomatoes. Don’t let these nerds bully you into not using thick ass tomato slices

  10. I thought cheeseburgers were in the burger category and not sandwiches?

I love The Menu. One of my wife and I’s favorite go to comfort movies.

The menu is great. If you haven’t seen it already Triangle of Sadness is definitely in the same vein and just as well done as the menu but set on a cruise ship instead

The tomato is just way too thick unless she prefers it that way. Otherwise it looks amazing
