A slice of Dayton–or should we say, Naples–is on its way to Columbus.

Old Scratch Pizza Kitchen, the incredibly popular Dayton-based pizza & beer hall, is opening its fifth restaurant in Hilliard, according to the press release.

“Columbus has incredible food culture, and we’re excited to bring something distinct to the West Side: Midwesternly Neapolitan pizza,” said Eric Soller, owner of Old Scratch Pizza.

The pizzeria gained popularity throughout Dayton for its house-made, quality driven pizzas, with blistered, airy crusts resulting from high-heat Neapolitan ovens. It’s premium, yet approachable.

Old Scratch Pizza will be located in Hilliard’s TruePointe, a new 27-acre mixed-use development along I-270. “Exect open kitchens with multiple Neapolitan ovens on full display, a lively beer hall vibe, and the kind of service that makes you a regular,” said Soller. A spacious patio will also be built, according to the press release.

TruePointe development is slated to open in stages through late summer/fall of 2026, and Old Scratch Pizza is part of this initial phase.
