    Not using the crusts is criminal.

    The recipe we use in our family is similar to this but we use baguettes that we have saved up over weeks. As long as they properly dry out when they go stale, they will last forever. Slice them up and spread butter and some Nutella on some bits

    Tastes incredible and has a perfect mix of crispy outide bits and soft chewy middle of the dish

  2. I’m down for that custard but I’d use a brioche and keep the crust. Looks decent
