This burger absolutely f#@%s. Tiny town in Ohio where I had to get in the car and drive ten minutes before I could even post this. It has chorizo, avocado, queso fresco, diced tomato and onion on a perfectly toasted potato bun. 10/10.

    Mexican restaurant burgers are awesome. I live near a spot that’s basically a place that serves “Mexican Restaurant” burgers with tacos as a secondary item.

    I ordered a burger in a Mexican restaurant because our group wanted Mexican and I wasn’t feeling it. And it looked damn good in the picture on the menu. The picture didn’t do it justice.

    FWIW those wedges look great because they are basically larger Papas Gallos which are smaller wedges that are popular across MX.

    Dude! Thats legit!! Pro Tip: next time instead of ketchup, have chorizo, Oaxaca cheese and some bombastic Mole sauce on those fries and have a Mexican burger with a Mexican Poutine!!

    Hamburguesas absolutely go hard in the paint and are criminally underrated! Something about them just hits different. The obvious downside is they are usually up against stiff competition on the menu. There are a few places near me that have solid burgers, but the stake quesadillas or pollo con mole at two of the places are out of this world, so it has to be premeditated and not a game time decision to get one.

    Edit: I live in Southern California, so I’m surrounded by bomb Mexican food.

    I’m in southern CA and some of the less fancy places near me are good with burgers and fries *and* Mexican, so a good lunch is a burger, crinkle fries and a taco.

    One of my nephews did this. What’s funny is a Chinese restaurant we liked in business for 40 years had very good American food on the menu at a really good price.

    The best and worst burgers I’ve ever had were from Mexican restaurants.

    Truly hit or miss here in Texas.

    The one in the pic looks damn good though.

    That’s a torta using hamburger buns. Not the same but still sounds like something most Latinos would appreciate and applaud. 👏🏻
