As we near the end of September and colder weather sets in, it might be starting to seem reasonable to consider your Christmas plans. If you’re hosting this year, no doubt catering is on your mind.
Food shopping for a Christmas meal can be a huge undertaking and that’s not to mention the mince pies, cheese boards, festive drinks and chocolates that you will likely want around over the period. There’s breakfasts and lunches to be considered too if you’re having guests to stay for a while and that’s even before you’ve chosen a centrepiece.
To make things easier some shoppers will be starting early and planning ahead.
One way to do this is to order your food from a supermarket now and arrange for delivery in the week leading up to Christmas day.
While not all supermarkets have opened their Christmas delivery slots yet, Waitrose shoppers can get the ball rolling on their food shops from today.
With slots now available, shoppers can choose from a huge selection of Waitrose’s Food Made to Order items.
Items include a selection of party sandwich platters, roulades and mini tarts for easy entertaining.
