Yes, I have tried vegan sushi many times. It’s very good. We have a great Philadelphia sushi restaurant that does excellent vegan sushi, and also there’s an absolutely outstanding vegan sushi place in Montreal, Canada.

I think you’re just hitting a bit of a language mistake, easy to make! The question should be “have you ever tried vegan sushi?” Or “would you try vegan sushi?”
“Did you try” = “did you eat this exact sushi in this picture?” 🙂

Sorry people are being so rude about a mistake you made with your English! There are a few places where I live that make vegan sushi and it’s delicious. Though not as filling as I’d hope for the price.

Sushi always looks so pretty! But i really hate the taste of algae/sea so i never try it haha. Were there other options in this bar? I might go to buenos aires in january and will be looking into places to go eat

I love both konjac/konnyaku vegan sushi and various seasoned-vegetable sushi. I think half way dehydrated and seasoned tomato is really great. I loved fish sushi and I find properly seasoned and dried tomato provides a similar experience. Another fun one is bell pepper.
Most of the vegan sushi you buy through a store are various konjac recipes I believe. I wonder if the restaurant you ate at used veggies or konjac
