I've made this setup last summer and happy with the results.
It's a small egg but works great the coal grill I made myself with some spare stainless I had lying around(grill is bought)

The top is covered with epoxy, hopefully it will last longer being outside open to the weather

I can’t tell I think that is pine, but it still looks expensive!

    Wood ctop, check.
    Wood backsplash, check.
    Let’s get grilling!!
    All jokes aside, sweat setup!

    The heat from
The grill and stove top don’t impact the wood?

Sweet setup. I was kinda hoping the middle grill was a propane searing station, cuz that would be my ideal setup.

An egg/some sort of charcoal/wood/smoking setup, plus a propane station for when I wanna get a hard sear and/or cook a steak entirely on there with no extra effort when I’m lazy

Is this the next green egg burned down my stuff location?

Does the epoxy melt if you put something very hot there?

Beautiful! What type of epoxy did you use for the tabletop? I’ve used Total Boat for several indoor projects & have been wondering what to use for outdoor surfaces in New England. Not the decking itself, but tables & etc. that’ll spend 3 seasons outdoors on a deck.

I built in a 22″ Weber like that. I just added metal heat shielding behind and below to keep embers off of everything.

    Love your work, great job.
