My apartment complex hosts a free food giveaway courtesy of The Houston Food Bank once a week starting at 8AM while supplies last, usually around 10 AM. I usually show up 5 or 10 minutes before it ends because most of the food labeled "vegan" or "plant based" will not be picked up by other folks 🙏🏻

I can’t get enough of Abe’s. I’m still on the hunt for Rubicon though, I haven’t found any of their stuff in my city. I’m sure they’re at Whole Foods but I refuse to shop there for external reasons
I haven’t had rubicon but I’ve had several Abe’s products also from the food bank and have liked each one! Someone suggested making French toast with their breads/cakes and that was a GREAT idea. I had a coffee cake and the “French toast” came out great.
