Ingredients:
• 2cup coarse bulgur (pilavlık bulgur)
• 1 medium onion, finely chopped
• 1 tomato, grated or chopped
• 1 tbsp tomato paste
• 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
• 3 cups hot water or broth
• Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pot. Add onions and sauté until soft.
2. Stir in tomato paste and grated tomato. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
3. Add bulgur, salt, pepper, and mix well.
4. Pour in hot water or broth, bring to a boil.
5. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes or until bulgur is tender.
6. Let rest for 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
