Can’t help but add that spinach being a good source of iron is a myth based upon an incorrect publication from 150 years ago. The method used to measure the iron content was flawed and overestimated the content by about ten times. A certain cartoon sailor is also responsible for spreading this myth. (Also the oxalic acid in spinach can actually chelate the iron ions and actually lower iron assimilation).
