Come on now, nothing like starting your smoke two weeks ahead of Thanksgiving.

  2. MAGA-man-XXL

Damn it my smoker is on rn and I’m stick in a freakinnmeeting 😫

  3. takeoutthedamntrash

That whole hog time quote is a little off as well.

  4. arialatom

Just got a smoker this weekend. Is there a chart like this for a newb that is actually accurate?

  5. pipecleaner6969

The recommended wood for hamburgers is mickory

  6. southernsteelmc

I never tried Mickory wood for Hamburgers

  7. Ok_Engine_4194

now im not a world renowned smart person nor am I the best reader but does that say “Mickory” in the beef section? Did new wood drop and I missed it?

  8. erikmonbillsfon

Wings you can take to 190 or even 200. 165° wings are chewy.

  9. Pm_your_golf_swing

Hamburgers on Mickory. I’m in 😎.

  10. Gambrinus

So if I have 5 pounds of chicken wings, cook them for 10 hours. Got it.

I’ll tell you right now 195 for chuck roast ain’t it. Needs to be 300 internal to be good.

35 hrs a lb for turkey breast? Yikes

  13. Doggo-Lovato

“Need help guys. Made the best turkey of my life, cooked at 180 on super smoke for 20 hours and gave a 14 hour rest in my yeti but the skin was kind of chewy, should I cook lower and longer?”

  14. _andthereiwas

Is this some chatgpt list or something?

  15. Timmy_Chet_Mitler

Mmm. Mickory wood. Love that when I smoke my hamburgers.

  16. Musique_Plus

kinda looks ai generated and the type of wood to use is off on some animals

  17. Ok_Put4986

Idk y’all. If we all start now we’ll have blackened turkey for Thanksgiving!

  18. decker12

According to that chart, a ~90 pound whole pig will take 1440 hours, or roughly 2 months of non stop smoking. So if you start right now, it should be ready by Thanksgiving.

    Hope you bought enough firewood.

  19. I_Want_A_Ribeye

I tried smoking a turkey a couple of years ago and honestly, this checks out

  20. CoachParticular8878

4-5hrs to cook beef ribs at 250. In what world? Dino Ribs take 10-12 hrs in my experience

Mental note: when in doubt, use Hickory or apple

  23. Sh11ester

I always smoke my burgers with pure organic Mickory wood so this chart looks legit

  24. Creative-Medicine-24

Also, I would not recommend Mickory wood for hamburgers.

  25. Traditional_Panic966

Is a typo – approx 30 mins per lb is a good estimate for turkey

  26. socialmedia-username

What unit is “Lb”?  Also, why scream about OAK and not about Pecan, which I prefer.

  27. funkofarts

Better get this year’s Thanksgiving turkey in the smoker today then… 😂
