    Tinned fish is ‘cool’ now. It should be cheap.

    That price for those sardines is ridiculous. They’re good, but not *that* good. I guess it partially depends on your location though. Different markets are priced differently.

    Costco sells them for less than a third of that price when they go on sale, and they ship. The membership would pay for itself inside of a month.

    I buy the bone-in version of these at my ShopRite by the case and they are ~ $2.29 each, ~$12 if you buy them in cases of 6 (as I do)!

  8. My Safeway is the same (Sonora CA). Weirdly, they have Matiz for a couple of bucks less per tin.

    No wonder the Safeway in my town went out of business. They also wanted $6 for a quart of chocolate milk.
