Bought some ribs from BJ's and admittedly haven't cooked ribs before, is this a membrane and should I remove it?

Membrane is going to be on the bone-side of the rib.

I’m going to assume it’s been removed already seeing as this is a value-added, ready-to-cook product.

I’m assuming this is pork spareribs. I always leave the membrane on when grilling or smoking to keep it moist. But to each their own.

Membrane removal is a meme. Just cook it.

  4. lol if you don’t know what it is, I wouldn’t worry about it. Focus on making those bad boys tender and juicy.
