Just curious who in here uses a PK? Best grill/smoker I’ve ever had. This is one of the originals from the 1950s which I inherited from my late father in law.

They don’t make ’em like that anymore.

  2. It is awesome just to see, first for me, so cool and retro. The ribs were just a chefs kiss. Well done!

Whoa. Thats what’s up. Solid as fuck. Good stuff!

I use a PK360. Best grill / smoker under the shed!

I’d buy one of the Aaron Franklin versions in a heartbeat if I didn’t already have a BGE and three other outdoor cooking appliances … wife says I “don’t need another grill.”

Bought mine about 5 years ago after seeing a YouTuber I like cook lamb chops on his. While I use it mainly for grilling (since I have a 22wsm) it’s great for quick 2 zone jobs and small smokes – for my purposes. Plus it’s cool to be different.

My younger brother and my step dad both have them.

I love the 300 Aaron Franklin. Works perfect for a small family or steak night. Wish it had an ash cleanout though.

I absolutely love my PK 360. Better ash management than the original and more space. The thing is just a workhorse and such a quality build. I do everything on that thing.

Can you explain what makes them so great? I’ve seen them in the local Ace hardware, but never cooked on one or had someone cook for me on one. And like, grills are pretty simple in an ideal world, but this just looks like a stretched Weber. But enough people talk about it as being incredible that I’m clearly missing something.

So, what does make them so special?

I asked my wife to buy me a PK for Christmas. She misunderstood and bought me a PPK. It makes a little bit of smoke I guess.

You sure 1950s? Bc looks exactly like mine from 1974. The earlier models have different vents up top.

Nice looking ribs you got there! I’ve heard about this but never seen one.

Been thinking of getting a 360 for a few years, but still unsure. I have a pkgo. It’s a great travel grill. Super well built.

I love my PK360. I’ve cooked everything on it. I only wish I had 2 or it was bigger.

I’ve never cooked on one, but I have a buddy that does steak comps from time to time, and he said he won’t ever cook steak on anything else.

Been using one forever. Just replaced the grates with the stainless version
