I tried to make soup but the seaweed completely fell apart and turned into this algae like sediment that turns green when stirred and looks inedible when settled. Salmon chunks. Genuinely it tastes good but i really am in awe of how shit it looks. This is a new low even for me.

From my experience you have to like, buy the correct seaweed. A lot of seaweed you find in the store is made for sushi and falls apart when you make a soup from it because it’s so thin I think. Still tastes good just kind of disintegrates.
