Orange Chicken and Broccoli with Rice 🍊🍗🥦🍚
This is a healthier and higher-protein version of one of my favorite take-out dishes! I use chicken breasts and air fry them to keep it lean and lower fat. I love the savory and fresh flavors, and this is perfect for meal prep or a quick dinner. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:
-2 lbs of chicken breasts, cut into 1”x1” pieces
-3 cups of medium-sized broccoli florets
-2 1/2 cups chicken bone broth
-1 1/2 cups uncooked white rice, washed
-1/3 cup cornstarch
-2 tbs soy sauce
-1 tsp grated garlic
-1 tsp grated ginger
-1 tbs sesame oil
-4 dried red chili peppers (or 1 tsp chili flakes)
-1 tsp white pepper
-green onion and sesame seed for garnish
-neutral oil for cooking
Sauce:
-1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
-1/4 cup rice vinegar
-1/4 cup freshly-squeezed orange juice
-1 tbs sesame oil
-1 tbs honey
-1 tbs cornstarch
-1 tsp grated garlic
-1 tsp grated ginger
-1 tsp orange zest
-1 tsp white pepper
Instructions:
-add rice and bone broth to a pot, cover, and simmer on low until fluffy
-boil the broccoli for 2 min; strain broccoli and set aside
-add chicken to a bowl and season with soy sauce, sesame oil, grated garlic and ginger, white pepper, and cornstarch; mix until pieces are coated
-spray air fryer tray with oil, add chicken, and spray with oil
-air fry at 400F for 10-15 min until golden brown and internal temp of 155-160F; rest for 5 min
-while the chicken cooks, add the sauce ingredients into a bowl and set aside
-set a wok or pan on medium heat; add 1 tbs oil
-add in green onion whites and chili peppers; sauté for 2 min until fragrant
-add sauce and bring to a simmer; lower the heat to low
-add in cooked chicken and broccoli; mix well
-turn off heat; garnish with green onion and sesame seed
-build bowls and store in fridge for up to 5 days or in freezer for 6 months

hey guys let’s make this healthier and higher protein version of orange chicken broccoli with rice each serving has 60 grams of protein costs 425 per meal and comes together in less than 45 minutes I weigh the food so the macros are exact and I have the recipe in the description I add the rice and bone broth to a pot and simmer on low until it’s nice and fluffy cut the broccoli to small fettes boil them in hot water for about 2 minutes then strain them cut the chicken breast into large 1in chunks and add to a bowl add soy sauce rice vinegar white pepper grated ginger and garlic corn starch and mix it well spray the air fryer basket with oil add the chicken spray the chicken with oil then air Fry at 400° f for about 15 minutes for the sauce mix soy sauce rice vinegar honey sesame oil orange juice fresh orange zest grated garlic and ginger corn starch then whisk until smooth finally chop some green onions separating the white bottoms from the green tops sauté the whites of the green onions with some red chilies add the sauce let it thicken then add the chicken and broccoli mix it well and that’s it it took 42 minutes finally we build our bowls I weigh out the rice the orange chicken broccoli garnish with sesame seed and green onion tops and that’s it take care and follow for more

Please steam, don't boil. Boiling broccoli means losing significant amounts of nutrients
