Howdy!

Looking at getting my first pellet smoker soon, and, and more specifically, my first traeger. I’m looking at a few different used options and I’m currently torn between a ridgeline xl and a Silverton XL. They’re equally priced, equally maintained, and equally functional. Essentially paralyzed between the two because I’d like my first experience to be a great one. I was hoping for some thoughts, reviews, and suggestions since I couldn’t find anything online directly comparing the two. Thanks!

TLDR; Silverton XL or Ridgeline XL, pick your choice if all else is equal

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

If budget not an option get the silverton

I bought a used Silverton XL and it has been fine. No regrets.

Is ridgeline sold at costco? If not, Silverton and it is not even close. COSTCO return policy + traeger customer service.
