Today, instead of Mesa Mike, we have Meza mom. My mom’s here from Cyprus, and she’s going to make some doma. Let’s chop up some onions, some parsley, some grated tomato. Let’s get our washed rice and put our mixture into it. Add in black pepper and a lot of lemon juice and olive oil and some tomato puree. We’re going to heat up some water to soak our vine leaves in it. We’re going to turn them around and do this until the color is faded away. have the veiny side of the leaf up and stuff it with our mixture and roll it up like this. I’ve never rolled a joint before, but I feel like if you have, it should probably help you out with this process cuz you want it really thin and tight. Break a chicken stock into it and spread it around. Put a plate over it to keep it compact with some water for it to boil. After 10 to 15 minutes, check whether the rice inside has cooked by tasting one. Then enjoy it with some yogurt.
