Everything is so expensive I’ve been making everything “at home”. It’s a slippery slope once you start it though, and it looks like you knocked that chicken out of the park. Well done!

Starbucks at home: Jordan’s skinny mixes with water.

Chick-fil-A/Raising Cane’s at home: copycat recipes on Pinterest

Five Guys at home: Wrap that burger in foil when it’s done.

How much did the corn cost? Where I am at, SW Florida, it’s almost $1 per ear, IN EVERY STORE! Haven’t bought any in years……

That’s some of the best looking homemade fried chicken I’ve ever seen! I rarely make it since I hate deep frying and oil is expensive, but I’m going to be craving this till I do! Great job.

This looks so good! But I’ve never heard of putting slaw on a baked potato.

Ahhh you reminded me of going to the UK for a work conference and having a debate about food names in a group of UK/American colleagues. Here, flapjack is another name for pancakes and we could not fathom what the hell an English flapjack was so my boss ran out and bought some to share.

I have to say I prefer that version!

I can never get my chicken to be this crispy. Looks delicious! Any tips?
