Lunch at ESqUISSE, such great value at ¥25,000 which includes a glass of champagne.
Seafood forward which I love, flavors are delicate and lets their ingredients shine. My favorite dish was the Squid and Cucumber appetizer. The use of green yuzu was perfect to brighten up the squid to pair with the crunchy cucumber.

I’m more of a wagtails start singing kinda guy.
Did lunch here on my last trip, it seemed like the only difference between lunch and dinner is the cheese course, which for that price difference, is wild. But the flavors were really good, the chef is someone that found a really good balance between French and Japanese flavors.
Kinda surprised they use flutes for champagne.
