This is how to use Vitamix soup setting to make soup in your Vitamix. Vitamix blades rotate so fast that the friction creates heat and will make water boil. This is great for making hot soups. You don’t need any pots or pans, just add the ingredients to the Vitamix blender and turn on the soup setting and wait.
I also added a vegan cashew crema and oyster mushrooms to complete the soup dinner!
Here’s how to cook the oyster mushrooms
Simple Sautéed Oyster Mushrooms with Salt and Pepper
Ingredients:
200g fresh oyster mushrooms
2 tablespoons olive oil (or butter)
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Mushrooms:
Gently clean the oyster mushrooms with a damp cloth or paper towel. Avoid rinsing under water to prevent sogginess.
Heat a skillet over medium heat (or cast iron over high heat). Add the olive oil and allow it to heat until shimmering.
Place the mushrooms in the pan in a single layer. Put a burger press on top to flatten them. Let them cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes to develop a golden-brown color.
Flip the mushrooms and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.
Enjoy your minimal yet flavorful sautéed oyster mushrooms with this soup! 🍄

Blending garlic that isn't peeled is the type of food hack my lazy a$$ needs
“Some of yall ain’t been on one in a year”. Haha hey wait. Lol
You can make it if you have a silver spoon in your mouth and can afford an $800 blender
Another useless piece of counter clutter
It might do the job
But it only does one job
EDIT For some reason, If I try to reply, YT just blocks my reply
But since I can still edit my original content…..
@tryingveganwithmario
I do a lot of my own cooking, nothing over the top, but I'd get a lot more use out of my pots which can do a variety of dishes, and I have a handheld blender if I need to blend stuff. It can also be stored in a cutlery drawer so would already take up less space than this
But if this get's the job done for you, then go for it
Thanks for the inspo! I made this silky smooth soup as a holiday detox. https://youtube.com/shorts/AIVQpg3Hx0k?si=ocBDJMuvKmkzxHFU
Hot in plastic? Hell nawh
The blender better come with a lifetime warranty if I’m supposed to run it for 8 minutes straight
"Under 10min." …umm, no.
Just bought mine 😀 so excited
Could I put uncooked chicken ok there as well? Instead of chicken broth? Or it is not a good idea?
