One of my kid’s birthday party was today. He loves bbq so I wanted to do a BBQ joint style party for him
Brisket
Pulled pork
Spare ribs
Cowboy beans
Mac and cheese
Corn salad
Homemade pickles
Homemade sauces
Served it all on butcher paper trays
Great chance to try out my electric smoker turned holding oven. I sealed off the pellet chute and the air vent to prove my commitment to never using an electric smoker lol
Was able to hot hold the brisket and pork shoulder for about 16 hours and then keep all the sides hot. Worked fantastic.

He will remember this for life you nailed it !
Ready to top it next birthday? 🙂
Absolutely not, you nailed it specially the prep and presentation, props man!
I hate you.
I’m just kidding. I love you.
“Dad, this was five people…”
Wow that looks awesome! I’m interested in more information on the warmer.
These are the types of moments that he’ll remember for the rest of his life. You nailed being a dad, and the rest of the family as well, but it’s all about him. Bravo. Also, presentation and ingredients texture mix with the corn side is on point.
Holy shit that’s an amazing way to use an electric smoker. Never thought of using it as a warmer. Well done.
I need a new Dad 😅
I hope they all appreciate it. That brisket made me hungry and im about to go to bed
Hi it’s me, family
Looks amazing!
LPT cut the slices in half so people are less tempted to take more than they’ll actually eat.
Looks awesome. Dont be surprised when you ask what they want for future birthdays and they hit you with “Remember when you…” lol
A shit load of amazing leftovers, I’m assuming.
This was worth it. You care and showed up. He’ll talk about it for years to come about his father’s barbecue.
It’s an amazing spread! lucky damn family I say, and leftover bbq is the gift that keeps on giving 🙂
That looks awesome, I’ll have some leftovers if its going
