Long story short, my boss said “The Depot” in Gardiner ME had the best wings in Maine. They are whole wings, giant and quite frankly not even sauced much more than a light coloring. “Dipped” they said. So I asked for more buffalo sauce and this is what came. No wonder the wings were straight oily. Max 3/10, pretty sure boss punked me.

That does not look very appetizing.
Looks fucked
Buffalo soup?
Looks to be all oil/butter and then possibly some hot sauce, franks? But it’s separated, like it’s been sitting a while. Weird
Is that a ranch cup?
Did you try it?
Yikes!
That’s broken AF. Buffalo sauce isn’t a difficult thing to make. It’s hot sauce and butter, you don’t need to boil it!
Too much butter in their mix
🤮
That’s like buffalo salad dressing..
Swiss chalet sauce?
They needed to whisk up the sauce, I have had this happen at a place before
That’s not “Buffalo sauce” it should be the same color as Frank’s Redhot hot sauce.
When peeking into the kitchen & there’s a gallon of ‘Buffalo’ sauce on the prep table from a price club, don’t order the wings
Vinegar based?
I’ve never seen hot wing au jus before
Buffalo urine?
Stir it.
Some people put WAY too much butter in their sauce.
We’re planning a drive up to Gardiner to see the Edward Arlington Robinson house. I’ll be sure to skip this place.
The butter will separate, that’s not unusual.
Has your boss ever had actual buffalo wings? LMAO
