Y’all, we’re going to make some spinach dip today. Somehow someway, my football series has now turned into a dip series. But honestly, if there’s anything that I can do really well, it’s a really good dip. We’re going to make a spinach artich choke dip today. This one is so easy. I know it looks like I’ve got a whole lot of ingredients here, but honestly, it’s just a bunch of cheese and then a few a few other ingredients. This is one of my favorite dip recipes that I share. I share it every single year. It’s so good. It’s super easy. You can also make it ahead of time for a football game and then just throw it on in a crock pot when you’re ready to eat it. I’m going to show you guys how to make this. This recipe, honestly, you guys, you can’t mess it up. You cannot mess this recipe up. Like most of my dip recipes, you’re going to start out with one block of cream cheese because in my opinion, cream cheese makes everything better. One of the reasons that I really like this recipe, um, if I’m making this for like a football party or like a get together or whatever, I prepare it the day ahead of time. I throw it in my fridge and then the next morning I turn my crock pot on and it’s good to go in like an hour, two hours. This is one of those recipes that it doesn’t take long in the crock pot. One block of cream cheese. Now, you’re going to need a whole lot of different cheeses. I’m going to tell you this, block cheese is the way to go. I feel like bag cheese already pre-shredded, it just it doesn’t taste the same, guys. It doesn’t melt the same. It’s just not as good. So, if you can get the block cheese and shred these cheese, that is the way to go. shred these cheeses. Honestly, you don’t even need to shred them if you don’t like have the time or don’t want to mess with it. You could throw blocks in here. It’ll take a little bit longer for it to melt, but it is an option if you don’t want to like deal with shredding cheese. Starting off with half a cup of Parmesan cheese, one cup of shredded mozzarella. Now, this is totally optional. You don’t have to do this, but I suggest putting in about half a cup of a spicy cheese. Last year, I think I used like a habanero cheese, and it was so good. This year, I’m using pepper jack. This is half a cup. Straight into the the crock pot. White onion. Half a cup. You’re going to need about half a cup of sour cream. Right into your crock pot. When I made this one last year, Chase literally said, “This is better than restaurant.” So, and he’s picky. I I need y’all to know that Chase is a very, very picky eater. So, when he says stuff like that, I know that it’s good. I probably made this recipe I don’t even know how many times last year. It was so good. I could not stop eating it. Garlic. Any kind of garlic you want. You could use powdered garlic. You could use fresh garlic. I like garlic because it’s easy. Now, I’m going to go ahead and say this is very much a measure with your heart. I would say about 2 tablespoons. Honestly, you guys, if you’re not big garlic people, you know, you could do one tablespoon, but I feel like spinach and artich choke dip is very garlic heavy, garlic based. Salt and pepper. I would say about a teaspoon. Measure with your heart. That was a really hard lesson for me to learn when I started cooking was the whole measure with your heart thing. I always took seasoning really serious. Like I’m like, “How much am I supposed to put in? I don’t want to put too much. I don’t want to put too little.” Y’all, it’s flavor. It’s not going to mess it up. This is one can of artichokes. I will tell y’all this. If you don’t like artich chokes or you don’t want to mess with it, you don’t have to put these in. They will This dip will be just as good without the artichokes, but I love the artichokes. If you are going to use a can of artichokes, make sure you drain it before you add it in. Last, but certainly not least, you need some spinach. Make sure you rinse and drain your spinach really well. You don’t want to get a lot of water in this. You’re going to need about 10 ounces. I actually got a 16 oz container, not realizing what I was getting. They normally sell like a 10 oz bag of spinach. Just get that. When you rinse it, make sure you drain it really well. You don’t want water getting into literally what I just did. What I just told you guys not to do. I did. It’s fine. It’s fine. It’ll be fine. It’ll It’s fine. That’s it. Okay. Now, we’re going to throw it on the crock pot. We’re going to let it go for about an hour on low. Give it a good stir. And then you’re going to let it go for maybe another hour, stirring in between. Once you see that all the cheese is melted and it’s ooey and gooey, it’s done. One thing I want to say about Crock Pots. All of our Crock Pots cook completely different. I probably have four Crock Pots and every single one of them cooks completely different. One of Some of them cook faster, some of them cook slower. So, just keep an eye on it. Once you see that it’s all melted and it’s ooey and gooey, you’re good to go. Spin dip. Spin dip. Same recipe as I always make. So, love it. Does have artich chokes, y’all. You can eat this with pita chips, pretzels, crackers, tortilla chips, a shoe, whatever you want to do. Is it good? Yeah, it’s fantastic. She can’t get it. Yeah. Good as always. Winner. Mhm. When are y’all?
