I visited a sushi restaurant vwhere you can quickly order various kinds of sushi with a tablet. I did enjoy the fatty tuna nigiri, but as someone who really loves eggs, I found the tamago sushi and deep fried tamago sushi to be my favorates.
The soft sweetness of tamago, paired with vinegared rice and a bit of soy sauce is just unbeatable.
And the crispy fried version with mayo? That was a first for me and honestly, it was amazing.
Next time, I think I'll just order a full round of egg sushi variations.
Okay, maybe a few pieces of inari too.

You visited スシロー a 回転すし place. Nothing wrong about that, it’s convenient and cheap sushi
Yes indeed 🖤🖤🖤😍😍😍
Honestly when I had to go out to sushi with the bosses and super intendent. They always chuckled because they were footing the bill and often got fancy stuff like abalone. Andim in the corner eating tamagoyaki nigiri like this. But it’s still good.
I really am sad I can’t buy what I used to get in Japan. There was a store that sold like a 12 x 24 x1inch block of steamed tamago. That I could easily use for home nigiri or lunch boxes. Easy to slice off a chunk for the week and keep the rest frozen.
So good.
And I fail making it every time hahaha. Some day I’ll steamnit right. Baked with a water bath like cheese cake.
A lot of the sushi places I knew did it that way and cut the block as needed for it. Honestly great for cold In the warmer fresh rice
Never had that fried one. I bet it’s great. I use stinger fried crab nigiri that was great
If you find a “Hama sushi” I would highly recommend! In my life I’ve tried many many kaiten sushi and Hama is the best コスパ!
