Noticed a crack in the base. Do I contact BGE or the 3rd party I purchased from? Thanks

It isn’t yet, but it’s worth filing a warranty claim. Mine is a bit worse but I haven’t filed a claim just yet. Same location just a bit longer at the base. File through the site or through where you purchased it.

I had a crack on one of the inner rings. About a month after purchase. I had to contact BGE AND the local distributor. Fortunately the local is a mom and pop place so he helped me get in touch with BGE and then took over getting the part in and to me. Took about two weeks.

I would not use that with a crack in the base. If it splits during a cook, it’s a huge fire risk. To me, it’s not worth the risk. You can start a warranty claim on the BGE website: https://biggreenegg.com/pages/warranty-claim
