Meat Mixture:
1lb ground beef, browned
1lb ground Italian sausage, browned
1 yellow onion, diced
1 tsp minced garlic

Sauce:
15oz tomato sauce
15oz petite diced toamtoes
6oz tomato paste
1 tsp each; Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, parsley, onion powder, pepper, sugar
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Filling:
8oz cottage cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella
2 cups diced spinach
1 tbsp minced garlic
*16oz jumbo shells, boiled aldente
*1/2C shredded mozzarella

1. pour half the sauce and meat on bottom of 9X13 dish
2. fill shells with filling and arrange in dish
3. cover in remaining sauce, meat, and mozzarella
4. bake at 400 degrees for 30 min
