Bought the Camp Chef Woodwind Pro 24 inch about a year and a half ago. Always used the cover on it during storage. Rained on at most 5 times while smoking. Probably averaging 1 time use per week and a half. To see the base chipping away after standard use in such a short time is disheartening. Any way I can fix it or slow down from getting worse? The wood box lining is also fraying from average use. Not sure how to fix that one.

I’ve had my ww pro for about 2 years now and have none of these issues. Zero rust on mine.

Call camp chef and get this stuff replaced. I think you’ve got like a 5 or 6 year warranty for rust

Call camp chef for warranty work. The bottom shelf is covered for 6 years.

  3. My WW36 is about 4-5 years old now, and the only minor issues I have is because I dont perfectly care for it as I should. Gets left out in the great lakes winter. We lost the snow title to Syracuse this past season by 3.7 inches. I do keep a cover on.

My Firebox gasket is doing the same thing I’ll have to replace it by the end of the year probably 😑

Thanks everyone for recommending to call Camp Chef. They will replace the bottom and also send out the smoke box gasket for me to replace. Looks like the parts are on backorder for a bit but I’m fine waiting!
