PIDE
(Turkish Flat Bread)
 
1.5 cups of warm water
1 tbsp of Sugar
1.5 tbsp of instant yeast
2 teaspoons salt
1.5 cups of yoghurt
1/2 cup of oil
6-7 cups of flour

Spinach topping:
Spinach

Mozarella, white cheese
Salt
Red pepper
Black pepper

Alternative toppings:
Cheddar, Lor and
Kashar cheese mixture,

DIRECTIONS
 
1.Mix water, sugar, and yeast in a small bowl. Let it sit until foamy.
2.Add salt, yoghurt, oil and flour, knead until a dough forms. The dough will be soft.
3.Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it for 40 minutes.
4.While waiting, prepare your topping.

6. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll into dough balls.

8. Roll out the dough balls into long ovals.

11. Brush over the dough with an egg wash.
12. Cook at 230 ° C until the dough is a reddish brown.
