I should have started making seitan ages ago, I absolutely adore it! Really easy to make, I mix it up, steam it, cut into cubes, then pan fry.

  1. Ingredients for the seitan:
    – 180g vital wheat gluten
    – 40 g nutritional yeast
    – 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
    – 1 cup water

    Mix ingredients together to form a wet dough. Split into 4 and roll into logs. Steam logs for 10 min. Cut into cubes, and pan fry in 1 tbsp of oil. (I used canola)
