Planning a trip to Disney World and not sure where you should eat while you’re there? Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

Chefs de France

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by Chefs de France at EPCOT for breakfast, and we’re bringing you our FULL review!

Background

Located in the France Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase, Chefs de France brings the “French nouvelle cuisine” to Florida, and you can watch crowds stroll the World Showcase promenade as you eat.

Atmosphere

The restaurant’s interior is highlighted by high ceilings, intricately designed mosaic flooring, and large windows that look out onto the World Showcase promenade and lagoon.

But enough about that, what are we eating?!

Food & Drinks

On our most recent visit to Chefs de France, our focus was on breakfast, specifically the NEW Parisian Breakfast buffet called Le Petit Déjeuner Français. This prepaid dining experience is being offered on Fridays and Saturdays during the 2025 Food & Wine Festival. This special buffet was previously offered back in 2019, and we’re so happy it’s back in 2025!

Cheers

The buffet offering costs $64.94 per person, and includes buttery croissants, freshly baked baguettes, cheeses & charcuterie, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, and unlimited mimosas.

Croissants

Overall, this was an interesting buffet offering. There were a lot of options, but all of them were light bites, which didn’t leave us feeling too full at the start of the day.

The meats and cheeses contained in the charcuterie board were a highlight. The goat cheese in particular was a favorite — super savory and tart to the perfect level.

Yum

As far as the baked goods, the baguette was very good. It was toasted on the outside, soft on the inside, just as you’d hope.  The croissants and pastries, on the other hand, weren’t anything to write home about. They were fine, no question, but essentially the same offerings you’d find around the Disney World resort.

The spread

That said, the egg croissant was very good. Buttery and crispy on the outside, with a thin egg on the inside. The quiche was relatively bland. The fresh fruit offered a nice selection of cantaloupe, melon, blueberries, and strawberries.

Fruit

That’s what you will find. In fact, here’s a consolidated list for your convenience:

Assorted French Pastries

Buttery croissants, pain au chocolat, almond croissants and other assorted pastries

Freshly Baked Baguettes

Crisp on the outside, soft and warm on the inside—ideal for spreading with creamy butter or luxurious French jams

Cheeses & Charcuterie

A selection of premium cheeses and artisanal cured meats

Smoked Salmon

Delicate and silky slices of smoked salmon, perfect for pairing with fresh bread or a squeeze of lemon

Fresh Fruit

Seasonal fruit to balance the richness of the pastries and charcuterie

What you won’t find are more “traditional” breakfast buffet foods, like sausages, scrambled eggs, toast, and biscuits.

You won’t find the selections from Chef Mickey’s here.

To drink, we had both the mimosas and the coffee. The former were pretty standard orange juice and champagne, while the latter seemed to just be standard Joffrey’s black coffee.

Coffee to jumpstart the day
Magic or Tragic?

The newest version of the Parisian Breakfast is a bit of a mixed bag. From an aesthetic perspective, the brunch has an “adult” feel, and the food offerings are a light start to the day that won’t sit in your stomach. However, it’s also not something we’d go out of our way to experience again, at least anytime immediately soon.

In addition, Disney could probably do some work on the experience here.  The breakfast is held beginning at park opening, which means that guests with early reservations only have 15 minutes to get from the front entrance to the France Pavilion (not an easy task) or make sure that they’re arriving at the park’s International Gateway entrance.
