Got some rewards points from work and was mocked for not having a smoker, so I solved that by getting a camp chef woodwind pro 24 with the sidekick griddle and the pizza oven.
Had to build a flat patio extension on the other side of my existing patio to hold it and get it out of the way of foot traffic. Patio tool three days of fairly hard work but came out nice and matches the stone of the existing. Good amount of space to hold the grill, propane, and a container for pellets etc.
Loving the unit so far.
First night I did chicken wings and then did a quick fry (before I had the sidekick so I used my sear burner on the Lynx), an they were epic with old bay rub and various sauce tosses.
Second night did some veggies for a salsa and it’s really tasty.
Got a chicken on there now and excited to try that.
Working my way up to longer cooks as I learn the grill. Heard dreadful stories of the app but it’a been ok for me so far. Not great but hasn’t not worked.
Excited to dive more into using it!

I got a new WW24 a few month ago. It isn’t a pro, but it was too good of a deal to pass up. The WW has been great so far, except for that pesky wifi issue. I’ve done several pork butts, numerous racks of baby back ribs, chuck roast, blocks of cream cheese, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, stuffed mushrooms, a few whole chickens, pork chops, a brisket, baked potatoes, a grill basket full of veggies, marrrow bones for the pooch, and corn on the cob. Oh, and stuffed shotgun shells, which I thought were very meh. I’ll likely end up doing the Thanksgiving turkey on it. And tons of other stuff I’ve yet to try.
The WW is a solid choice for a pellet smoker, glad you’re enjoying it so far!
Ideal spot for it.
Smoke ’em!
