Haven’t seen this much here, smoked some catfish we caught
4:1 brown sugar and salt brine overnight then seasoned with Heath Riles bbq rub, 225 for about 90 minutes or so, glazing with a mix of fresh squeezed oj, brown sugar, garlic powder, and black pepper

Can you describe what catfish tastes like? Every time I go fishing I consistently catch catfish and I fucking hate them because I was taught they’re mud fish and taste like a worms asshole would. I’ve never tried one because of that I just throw them back
