Omg this is one of the best clips from reality TV. The fucking Halloween piano music. The editing is comedy gold. And Gordon’s confused sounding “happy Halloween?”

Like idk why but it gets me every time. I used to watch this clip after having a bad day back when I was in nursing school to cheer me up.

This stupid show, i love it when they bring some muppet on to sacrifice to King Ramsey. Now you must polish the royal scepter

  3. MrNagaDoubtfire

Whenever I hear hen or pumpkin I think of this

    “What do you call this?”

    “Hen in a pumpkin.”

    💀

  7. His last name is Ramsay. Not Ramsey. Everyone is making this mistake, kinda annoying.

“how am I supposed to eat this”

    Um… It’s served tableside*…

🤨 “Mkay”. *Tosses plate* “Go on then. Serve it”

Uhhm….. *Starts butchering pumpkin making a fantastic mess*

So many people hate on Gordon, but we should all acknowledge that he worked with some absolute idiot sandwiches 😭😭😭

If you turn the Cornish hen into a pudding or stew and serve it in the pumpkin, it works. Make sure the pumpkin is cooked well enough that the flesh separates from the skin with a spoon, and you should be good.

The main challenge from there is to season the stew so that it complements the pumpkin, but that’s definitely possible.

So I don’t watch the show. This shit is hilarious. It this voice editing of what he really wants to say, or did he really say it? Assuming there were bleeps for TV.

Ah yes I love the horizontal video smashed down to a vertical phone view then put in a giant black box format

I thought it was going to be a soup. That was ghastly.

For anyone who isn’t a Hell’s Kitchen fan:

Yeah, the dish was weird and had a lot wrong with it and Gordon rightly tore it to shreds.

That said, this guy (Lou Petrozza) had a shaky start but over the season became a strong contender and ended up in the final. He didn’t win (most likely due to his age, 47 at the time and the fact that he was deeply set in his own way of doing things…for the most part Gordon prefers chefs that have the skills and potential but can adapt to his system of running a kitchen) but he put in a strong showing.

Not only that, he became one of the most loved contestants in Hell’s Kitchen history because of his giant heart and kind attitude. Sadly, he passed from lung cancer in 2019.

My mom cooked pumpkin a lot because it was cheap easy nutrious and “fun.” Taste and texture wise it’s just bland squash with a worst texture.

    Idiot!!!

  20. chrick_shot

Why didn’t he name the dish “pump-hen”?

  21. curi0us_carniv0re

I’d actually start watching this show again if I could watch it uncensored like this.

  22. Beautifulfeary

He should’ve added more butter 🤣🤣🤣

  23. Superb-Handle446

Memorable for all the wrong reasons.

  24. It was memorable, but not in a good way, like a perfectly grilled ribeye. More like finding a cooked cockroach in your vanilla pudding.

I’ve seen plenty of dishes served in a pumpkin, usually soups or stews; the big problem here is in the execution.
