I lift weights 3-5 times a week. I work outdoors and I’m on my feet at least 7hrs Monday-Thursday and I average 5k-10k on those days.

I was calculating my activity to be light because of how sedentary my weekends are besides lifting weights 😅

I’m 33F, 5’3, and my weight fluctuates between 170-175lbs. My goal is 135 but my small one for now is 150. My starting weight was 250lbs.

Thank you!

  1. I’d say light.

Sedentary generally includes about 5,000 steps per day. Sounds like you are averaging about 9,000 steps/day including weekends?

The calculators are just a starting point. Pick a number and adjust as needed based on your actual results.

Close to 5 miles a day with weight training is definitely moderate at least IMHO…

Definitely not light lmao idk what these comments are talking about. You are definitely active

I would say moderate personally but then wouldn’t log any exercise as it’s already been accounted for by selecting moderate. If you find after a month or two using the recommended calories you’re not losing you could change to light

at least moderate, i average 10k steps a day no extra exercise and listed myself as light active! with weight lifting ur for sure moderate

4’11, 145ish 32F. I do 10K steps a day, and eat around 1800 (1500 is the goal but I’m a binger). I’m usually in the gym 2-3x a week. Normally list myself as sedentary, mayyyybe lightly active on calorie calculators though since I have an office job.

Highest weight was 175 in middle school (so ~2005). I started at 167 in 2021 (after gaining 20+ lbs between 2016-2021) …idk why I’m sharing all this, but it’s been a long tough road lol. I struggle everyday to make good food decisions.
