This honour isn’t just about Nemi—it’s a regional celebration involving neighbouring wine towns like Frascati, Marino, Velletri, and Grottaferrata. Together, these Castelli Romani communities will host events that spotlight the diversity of Lazio’s terroir, grape varieties, and traditions.
The title also recognises a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture, biodiversity, and the principles of the Slow Wine movement.
