LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A sushi restaurant at MGM Grand on the Las Vegas Strip is closing temporarily to undergo a “design and menu refresh.”

The resort announced Morimoto will close on Wednesday, Oct. 1, and reopen in late November.

MGM’s website describes Morimoto as a combination of “delicate Japanese beauty and elegance, with exotic photographs by Yasumichi Morita.”

The restaurant features a menu from Japanese chef Masaharu Morimoto, known for his appearances on the cooking show “Iron Chef,” including teppanyaki.

No details on the refresh were disclosed.
