Diners get sneak peek of new £1m Italian restaurant

A restaurant is preparing to open its new town centre venue. Bookings for the new-look Raffaele, on Market Square, Sandbach, officially open from 5pm on Thursday 9 October.

It comes as the restaurant has opened for a sneak peek from midday to 3pm today.

Owners Alessio Serra and Salvo Capasso had been running Raffaele from Hightown. But the building did not have enough space and the final service was held there last weekend ahead of the £1 million move to the former Crown Hotel which has been empty for eight years.

In a social media post to diners, Raffaele stated: “This weekend, Saturday 4 October from 12pm until 3pm you will be welcome to come and see our newly-refurbished restaurant on the cobbles. You will be able to come in and book your table for your future visits, grab a glass of wine and take a look round.”
