I was wondering if anyone using an Apple watch has successfully used the Traeger watch app? I have never gotten mine to work, on two different watches. I first tried a couple of years ago, and while the app on my iPhone works just fine, the watch will never show a connection, or will show the smoker as ‘Offline’. I just recently upgraded my Ultra 1 to the new Ultra 3, and thought I would give it another try. Unfortunately, newer watch, same results. Note: Pic 1 is a SS of my watch, Pic 2 is a SS of my phone app at the same time.
Let me also say, this would be a nice to have. I know Traeger is in the smoker business, and from that end, my 780 Pro is working great, and gets the job done every time I use it. That said, I love the ability to use the phone app, wherever I am, even if I have to run to the store mid-cook. If the watch app exists, I would love to use it also, if possible. If I can’t, it’s not a big deal, this is my final attempt.
As a very tech-literate person, I did all the normal troubleshooting, un-install/re-install the app on both the phone and watch devices. Hard restarts on both. And while the problem is still showing on the latest versions of the watch iOS, as I mentioned, this has always been an issue, so it has recurred over the past several App/iOS versions.
Has anyone else had luck with getting the watch app to work for them?

The watch app sucks and is pretty much pointless.
Nope, was just trying to get this working this morning.
I had mine work once when I first got it 4-5 years ago. I had to have the Traeger app open on my phone, then close the watch app and relaunch it. Worked twice then never again.
They really need to just remove the watch app from the App Store.
Yes, but I have to uninstall it and reinstall it from the watch each time. It works after it’s installed but then won’t work again the next time.
