ALPHA, N.J. – Meet Antoinette Giancamilli, better known as Nonna Netta.
She has quite the following on social media, getting millions of views to be exact, as she showcases her homemade Italian cooking with her 500,000 plus followers.
“Pasta is the number one, and then pizza, said Giancamilli.
It is her passion.
“I enjoy doing it because it makes people happy and that’s what makes me happy,” said Giancamilli.
Her grandson Luke Hardin is behind the camera.
“And Nonna is always cooking food, so I thought a combination between my content creation and Nonna’s cooking abilities is just a viral success,” said Hardin.
“Everybody loves pizza, so almost every week I make pizza,” said Giancamilli.
She has called Alpha, New Jersey home for decades after moving to the U.S. from Italy.
Each week, she cooks for her whole family in the area.
“Every Sunday, we are 19 in the family now, and 20 with my grandson’s girlfriend,” said Giancamilli.
“Everything she makes is terrific. There’s never been a bad meal in this house,” said Gene Giancamilli, Antoinette’s husband.
She has been cooking in front of the camera for social media for the last two years.
“Everyone would comment, ‘oh it looks so good, I’m learning so much’ and til this day wherever I go now, people recognize me and say, ‘Nonna it’s nice to see you,'” said Giancamilli.
A passion for cooking she is not only sharing with her family, but the world.
Hardin said he and his grandmother plan to make a cookbook with Giancamilli’s recipes.
