Brunch on 1/4″ plywood

I mean it was a GREAT meal, but it was definitely just 1/4" plywood sanded down into a 'plate shape', and coated with something… but you could feel the ridges of the layer changes. Sorry for the pic being messy, I had a bit before I realized the wood wasn't even just a solid chunk and then took the pick.

This was in Quebec city today. Again, great food… but, unfortunately it immediately brought this sub to mind!
