Inspired by velvetjacket1's post here last week, I've gone to Blue Apsara twice for their Cambodian food. Overall, pleasantly surprised by their generous portions (given that they're a food truck on S Lamar) and taste of the food, and wanted to share about it! Service was pretty fast, and owner was nice.
I got the fish amok (second pic, the Cambodian national dish) the first time, which was absolutely divine. Will definitely get this again. The second time, I got their $28 Taste Cambodia platter (first pic — Egg Rolls (2), Khmer-Lao Sausage (1), Cambodian Beef Sticks (2), Prahok K’tis. Served with fresh seasonal vegetables, crunchy pickled vegetables, white rice.) The portions were quite generous, although I found the food in the platter "just" pretty good and not amazing. I prefer the Khmer-Lao sausage at Lao'd bar and in Houston, but the price for the platter is still great for Austin food.
I haven't tried out their delivery option, but they have free delivery for orders over $25 within 5 miles of the food truck.
